It equips a student with a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge, adequate IT skills and instills a high level of interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills. Admission Criteria :
On the basis of CAT, SNAP, MAT and CMAT scores students are shortlisted for GD/PI. Final selections are based on student's performance in GD/PI.
Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by UGC & AIU. Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply.

||Unique Features Of The PGDM Program
The curriculum entirely concentrates on requirements of the industry. On-campus learning coupled with exhaustive summer internship of 2.5 months enables students to bag jobs well before the course ends.
Most Effective Pedagogy :
Rather than a semester system, we follow a trimester system which ensures shorter span of each term and hence results into better learning. Each trimester is followed by external exam and viva-voce and equips students with greater knowledge of subjects. Moreover the case-based methodology is primarily employed for offering the knowledge and skills to the students along with roleplays, assignments, projects and presentations.
Most Rigorous :
As a part of the program students are subjected to as many as 100 + presentations, 150+ case analyses and 200 + assignments across 2 years of course duration. Apart from this 8 hours of contact period and a total of 1800 contact hours makes it the most rigorous program by far.
This is a unique concept wherein each student on joining, gets a faculty mentor who is there to help in all situations-personal or professional.
Scheme of Evaluation :
CHIMC follows a continuous evaluation system for students. At the end of every term, the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is calculated for each student. The evaluation is comprehensive and takes into account the performance in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities

To enable students make an easy entry in the corporate world special workshops are organized in association with RAI (Retail Association of India), NSE and IRDA. Apart from this Tally, SPSS and ERP are also taught to the interested students.
Specific Focus On English skills and Personal Development :
Making students proficient in analytical skills, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills is a clear focus in PGDM. For this 500 hrs of training on English and PD is provided .
